Gm Hyperion hackers,
We have seen some very nice ideas joining the forum and we absolutely love it and we wanna see more ideas!
To ensure more innovators can participate and to welcome developers with mature projects, we’re making two important adjustments to the HyperHack timeline:
1. Ideathon Phase Extended
- New Submission Deadline: Proposals now accepted until June 16, 2025 (previously June 2)
- All existing processes remain unchanged:
- Community feedback and proposal refinement
- Committee reviews
- Early-Bird NFT awards (now scheduled for June 23)
- This extension allows deeper exploration of AI and real-time concepts.
2. New Late Entry Track for Advanced Projects
Beginning June 17, developers with near-complete projects (e.g., 80%+ developed) may apply directly to the Build Phase:
Requirements:
- Submit verifiable proof of project maturity (GitHub repository, documentation, or demo)
- Deploy to Hyperion testnet by July 15 (before Stress-Testing begins)
- Apply via the standard HyperHack Application Form
Important Notes:
- Late entries are ineligible for Ideathon rewards (Early-Birds , AMA incentives)
- Eligible for all main prize categories
- Expedited 48-hour committee review
- Projects that participated in the Ideathon and built out their products during the building phase will be prioritised for prizes
Updated Timeline Summary
Phase | Dates |
---|---|
Ideathon | May 15 – June 16 |
Build Phase | June 2 – July 15 |
Stress-Testing | July 15 – August 7 |
Why These Changes?
- Greater flexibility: More time for new teams to refine proposals
- Broader participation: Accommodates developers with existing projects
- Ecosystem growth: Enables battle-ready dApps to stress-test Hyperion
