In the process of putting the community first and anchoring the governance system. What strategy have you put in place to curb short sighted vision of the community.
Seeing most decision Dont come from a place of truth rather the immediate pain. Do you meter the governance rights of the community?

In order to avoid short-sighted ideas leaking into the governance of fracture point, we designed the world where only your skills matter more and you are rewarded for that exclusively. next to the skills is contribution to the game from publishing, inviting and the likes . So to answering your question I would say only those that contribute positively to the project and those with a high skill standard will be considered to having limited governing right in form of token.

Will FPToken ever have staking or governance functionality in the future, or is it permanently as XP?

It’s permanently as a soul bound token for ranking alone, it’s meant to be exchanged for a a rankbadge/certificate that marks the range of contribution as the proof of play. The contributions are further rewarded with a monitized reward which is the governance token.
The purpose of the rankbadge is souldnbound and after claim of GHC token it will unlock several voting rights within the game.
