I was blown away when I realized that my performance in-game could directly influence the next story arc or season. That’s true community-led worldbuilding. We’ve talked about it in Web3 for years Fracture Point is doing it.
Wallet connection didn’t work for me, and it took a while to even know what to test.
What makes Fracture Point different from all the other dead-on-arrival Web3 shooters?
That’s a solid structure. Does the GHC token have a capped supply or deflationary mechanics tied to seasonal contributions? Also, will voting power scale based on badge tier or only badge possession?
That’s a helpful catch. We’re debugging wallet connection this week and will release a clearer tester guide with call-to-actions for XP earning. Appreciate you flagging this early.
GHC is in fixed supply, the teckonomics of the world is designed to be an exchange for value either within the game or outside it. We have design a few sink to prevent deflation and all is tied to community-driven vote.
The voting power is based on contribution, the badges shows the rate at which contributors were frequent. (A gold badge+ A silver badge get more vote cast compared to a 2 silver badge.) this mechanics ensure fairness and a more skill driven community.
Our economy is proof-of-play first, with zero emphasis on pay-to-win. We’re also the first FPS where skill unlocks governance rights, not just skins or token yield.
I really like the layered approach here using FPToken as a soul bound proof of effort, RankBadges as immutable proof of achievement, and then GHC as the monetized governance layer. It feels like a fair bridge between merit and influence, especially if badge tiers impact voting rights. Excited to see how this shapes your community dynamics over time
Will there be seasonal resets or persistent character development across seasons?
There won’t be seasonal reset, as the xp earned from the game are burnt to mint the badges for each season. Those who do not meet the criteria mint badges get to carry carry their xp to the next season giving them a head start to the badge claim th following season while the previous winners starts afresh the next season. Other than GHC there are other rewards tied to the ranking places.
The purpose of this is to create a fair economy for all players without a section monopolizing the rewards.
Thanks you for your insight.
Really impressed with how you’ve balanced progression and fairness. Letting non-badge earners carry over XP while previous winners reset ensures there’s always room for new high-performers to rise, without punishing consistency. It’s a smart way to avoid dominance by early adopters while still rewarding dedication.
Alith integration is brilliant. Having an AI-based referee system to monitor lobbies and ensure fair XP rewards is what Web3 games need to gain player trust. It solves a huge problem: cheating, farming, and manipulation all at the systemic level.
Why are you using plain HTML for the lobby UI? Isn’t that too basic for a Web3 game prototype?
Absolutely fair point. HTML was chosen deliberately to speed up feedback collection and frontload player testing without waiting for Unity integration. This is just the initial layer, think of it as scaffolding for a much deeper build.
There’s no Unity engine gameplay yet. How do you expect us to get a full feel for the game?
This is the first Web3 shooter I’ve seen that’s not afraid to be a game first. It doesn’t hide behind NFTs or token buzzwords. It has its own gameplay identity and the tech just enhances that experience. Finally! ![]()
The current prototype focuses on validating on-chain logic, proof-of-play mechanisms, and UI flow. Unity development begins immediately after testing concludes.
Welcome here, you can try and get familiar with the space. Check guilds to contribute.
The UI/UX, even in its prototype stage, already shows serious polish. It’s sleek, mobile-first, and built with clarity. When you combine that with a focus on player agency and fairness, you can see this is being built by someone who truly understands both games and Web3.
