One thing I’ve learned after years in Web3 Since 2016: hype might get clicks, but meaning builds momentum.
So much of crypto marketing still leans on words like “revolutionary,” “game-changer,” “next big thing.” But people don’t really engage because something is early—they engage because it resonates.
My approach now is simple but intentional:
• I translate technical features into emotional value.
Not “zk-rollups,” but “faster, cheaper transactions with privacy baked in.”
• I build narratives that show users what’s possible for them, not just for the protocol.
• I use content as onboarding—not just to explain what a project is, but why it matters in someone’s daily life or work.
• I focus on trust signals: transparency, real stories, and showing the people behind the project.
In Web3, users are often builders too. They deserve more than empty promises. They need clarity, context, and community.
Marketing in this space isn’t about selling it’s about aligning. And when your message is aligned with your mission, retention follows.
Just wanted to share this with fellow marketers who are trying to do things differently.
Let’s keep raising the bar.
