What’s the biggest friction point you face when onboarding new users?

Onboarding is where most potential users drop off.
Some struggle with wallets, others get lost in product UI, and sometimes the value proposition just doesn’t click fast enough.

I’m curious to hear from builders, community managers, and power users here:

  • Where do you see the biggest drop-offs during onboarding?

  • What’s one tactic you’ve used that noticeably improved the experience?

For me, the biggest drop-off happens in the product UI. The key is making it as simple and frictionless as possible. IMO

For me, the value proposition just not clicking fast enough is the biggest drop-off. It’s about speed of understanding, the faster someone gets what’s in it for them, the better.

I agree with you, Rosita. UI/UX is an important part in capturing new users

couldn’t agree more, have you had a similar experience as a user

Yeah, most def. I always analyse what’s in it for me in anything I get into.
