StreamNFT- The Full Stack Platform for Asset Ownership & Utilities

Live Link: https://testnet.streamnft.tech/launchpad/metis%20test

Project Name

StreamNFT

Problem Statement

Building ownership based asset-driven economies for consumers ( gaming, social, entertainment, etc. ) is overly complex and inefficient, developers must stitch together multiple tools just to enable core functionalities like trading, rentals, loans or utilities. Current asset standards also restrict cross-protocol usage, limiting the full potential of in-game assets. Meanwhile, players face high entry barriers and fragmented utility experiences, making it difficult to engage meaningfully with their gaming assets.

Solution Overview

StreamNFT is a full-stack platform that unifies trading, rentals, loans, and utility into a single plug-and-play hub for developers across gaming, social, RWA, entertainment, etc. It simplifies the launch and scaling of asset economies for developers. Our asset standard supports cross-protocol usage, unlocking 2x more value and enabling composable utility. For consumers, StreamNFT offers a seamless interface to discover and interact with their in-game assets, lowering the barriers to Web3 experiences.

Project Description

StreamNFT is an all-in-one platform that unlocks the full potential of your digital assets — from trading and renting to borrowing, lending, and accessing exclusive perks.

In the current NFT landscape, owners often have to juggle multiple platforms to get value from their assets, one for trading, another for rentals, another for perks, and so on. StreamNFT eliminates that fragmentation by bringing all major NFT functions under a single, seamless hub.

Whether you hold gaming assets, art & collectibles, or utility tokens like memberships and event tickets, StreamNFT gives you the tools to:

  • Trade assets easily and securely

  • Earn more by renting, lending, or selling your assets

  • Access more through early drops, exclusive perks, and marketplace deals

  • Do more by activating multiple utilities from a single asset simultaneously

Our composability framework lets different NFT functions work together — rent out an in-game sword while using it as loan collateral, or claim perks while keeping it listed for sale. Powered by innovations like ERC-7066, StreamNFT enables advanced multi-utility without losing ownership.

User Guides / Tutorials

StreamNFT makes it easy for asset owners to access the full potential of their digital assets in one place and for creators to offer value to their community.

  • 1. Trading – List and trade gaming assets, collectibles, and utility tokens
By default, you’ll land on the marketplace page. Go to Discover > Marketplace to access it anytime.

    • Step 1 → Explore assets by type or click View all to browse full collections.

    • Step 2 → On the collection page, see items for sale under Marketplace and your own assets under My Assets.

    • Step 3 → Buy instantly or make an offer. To sell, set a price in My Assets and it will be listed on the marketplace.

    2. Drop Launchpad – Access early releases and exclusive asset drops
Go to Launchpad from the navigation bar.

    • Step 1 → From the navigation bar, go to Launchpad and explore upcoming or live drops.

    • Step 2 → Mint assets during the launch — take advantage of early phases for the best access.

    • Step 3 → Newly minted assets will appear in My Assets for immediate use or trading.

    3. Rentals – Offer assets for short-term use or rent items you don’t own
Go to Rent from the navigation bar.

    • Step 1 → Choose a collection from the rentals list.

    • Step 2 → Browse available rental assets, pay the rental fee, and enjoy for the set duration.

    • Step 3 → From My Assets, list your item for rent by setting price and rental period to earn passive income.

    4. Loans – Use assets as collateral for borrowing or lend capital for returns
Go to Loans from the navigation bar.

    • Step 1 → As a borrower, go to Borrow, select your asset pool, and view available loan terms for instant borrowing.

    • Step 2 → Borrower can also create a custom loan request under the NFT listing module with their own terms, which will be visible to all lenders.

    • Step 3 → As a lender, go to Lend, choose a collection to support, and fund any of the pre-defined loan pools to earn interest.

    • Step 4 → Alternatively, browse borrower-created offers under NFT listings and accept any that match your criteria.

    • Step 5 → Once both parties agree, smart contracts automatically release the funds and lock the collateral.

    • Step 6 → Borrowers must repay by the agreed maturity date, failure to do so allows the lender to claim the collateral.

    5. Perks Hub – Unlock and redeem benefits tied to your assets
Go to Perks from the navigation bar.

    • Step 1 → Browse all perks or tangible benefits available for your owned assets.

    • Step 2 → Select a perk, complete tasks if needed to claim them.

    • Step 3 → Redeem those benefits or trade it with others.

    6. Lootbox – Unlock random rewards through gamified drops
Go to Lootbox from the navigation bar.

    • Step 1 → From the navigation bar, go to Lootbox and choose the one you want to open.

    • Step 2 → Preview the possible rewards, pay the entry fee (if required), and open the box.

    • Step 3 → Your rewards are instantly revealed and credited to your account or wallet.

    7. Creator Hub – Launch and manage your own digital asset collections
From the navigation bar, go to Creator Hub.

    • Step 1 → Choose the type of collection you want to create (e.g., gaming assets, art, utility tokens).

    • Step 2 → Fill in collection details, upload your assets, and set pricing, supply, and utility options.

    • Step 3 → Publish your collection for discovery across the StreamNFT marketplace, rentals, and launchpad.

    • Step 4 → Track performance, manage listings, and update utilities from your creator dashboard.

Hello @piyush-chittara , Can you explain more about the “cross-protocol utility” does that mean an asset from one game could be usable in another via StreamNFT? How is that enforced?

Our platform enables true composability for digital assets across multiple protocols—including rentals, loans, marketplaces, and utility applications. Unlike traditional models where an asset is locked and restricted to a single protocol at a time, our approach allows assets to remain fully functional and interoperable.
• For example, when your NFT is rented out, you retain ownership and can simultaneously use the asset as collateral for a loan or list it for sale on the marketplace. This ensures maximum capital efficiency and utility for asset holders.
• Renters gain access to the NFT’s on-chain and off-chain utilities during the rental period, unlocking real-world or digital benefits while the asset remains available for other financial operations.
In summary:
Assets on our platform are not siloed within a single protocol. Instead, they can interact with multiple DeFi and utility protocols at once, empowering users to extract the highest value and flexibility from their holdings

dApp Testing Report: StreamNFT

Overview
StreamNFT’s App Layer dApp is intended to offer NFT renting and utility features across multiple networks. However, during testing, its usability and direction appear unclear and poorly executed.

Technical & Functional Testing

  • Platform Accessibility:
The dApp loads on the Hyperion testnet, but there are no clear instructions for acquiring the necessary test tokens to interact with its features.

  • Multi-Chain Support:
While several networks are displayed, the app fails to explain how each chain is integrated or what advantages users gain from using the dApp on Hyperion or any other chain.

  • Functionality:
Tasks on the platform are presented but cannot be completed due to lack of test tokens and missing guidance. The features seem disconnected, with no cohesive user journey.

  • Token Usage:
Test token availability is a critical blocker. There’s no faucet or guidance on how to obtain them, which disrupts the testing and user onboarding process.

UI/UX Evaluation

  • Interface Complexity:
The design is cluttered and non-intuitive. It’s not clear what actions users should take or in what order. The navigation lacks hierarchy and logic.

  • User Journey:
There’s no onboarding process, walkthrough, or help tooltips, which makes the platform difficult to understand, especially for first-time users.

  • Purpose Communication:
The value proposition is vague. It’s unclear what specific problem the platform solves, or who the intended users are.

  • Broken Social Links:
Links to social accounts (X, Discord) are present on the interface but are not functioning. This limits the user’s ability to engage with the community or learn more about the project.

Critical Issues Identified

  • No faucet or method provided for test token acquisition.

  • Unclear multi-chain purpose and integration.

  • Poorly structured and confusing interface.

  • Broken links to social media accounts.

  • Tasks presented are unachievable due to lack of resources and guidance.

Suggestions for Improvement

  1. Clarify the Core Purpose:
Define the dApp’s main value and target audience. Communicate it clearly on the homepage.

  2. Simplify UI/UX:
Redesign the interface to guide users step by step. Group features logically and reduce visual clutter.

  3. Enable Test Token Access:
Add a working faucet or mint function directly within the app for each supported chain.

  4. Fix Social Links:
Ensure that social icons redirect to official and active project profiles.

  5. Explain Network Integration:
Provide a dedicated section that explains the benefits of each supported chain and how the dApp interacts with them.

  6. Streamline Features:
Focus on one or two core features initially and build from there. Right now, the platform feels like a fragmented patchwork.

Conclusion

StreamNFT currently lacks the structure, usability, and clarity needed for effective testing or adoption. While the concept may be promising, the execution is disorganised and unwelcoming. With a clearer vision, improved user flow, and working fundamentals (like test tokens and social links), the platform could begin to attract actual users and developers.

Hello @irinaina,
Thanks for taking the time to test StreamNFT and share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate the constructive points you’ve raised. I’ve addressed each one below so you have a clear view of our current state and the improvements already underway.

1. Platform Accessibility

Concern: No clear instructions for acquiring test tokens.

Response:
You’re right that our faucet flow isn’t immediately visible. Currently, most users land directly on our campaign page, where we’ve created a “Claim hMetis” task that redirects them to the official faucet bot on Telegram. However, we see the value in making it more accessible, we’ll be adding a “Claim hMetis” button in the top-right banner so users without tokens can reach the faucet in one click. If you have suggestions for an even smoother flow, we’d be happy to explore them.

2. Multi-Chain Support

Concern: Unclear integration benefits for each chain.

Response:
At present, our routing is tied to network selection, which unlocks the relevant NFT functionalities. In our upcoming release (expected within ~10 days), chain selection will no longer be a prerequisite — users will be able to browse assets across all networks without switching chains first.

3. Functionality & Tasks

Concern: Tasks can’t be completed due to missing tokens and unclear guidance; features feel disconnected.

Response:
Agreed — without test tokens, user can’t interact with dapp. As covered in point #1, we’ll improve the accessibility. This is a valuable observation, we hadn’t realized it was a blocker but there were users who asked in our community channels and got assisted.

4. Token Usage

Concern: No faucet or guidance.

Response:
Covered in point #1 — faucet link + better placement in high-action areas will address this.

5. Interface Complexity

Concern: Design is cluttered and non-intuitive.

Response:
We agree the lack of a proper landing experience makes it harder for users to instantly grasp the value StreamNFT offers. In the next iteration (within a week or 10 days), we’re:

  • Adding hero banners which will reflect the value proposition of each functionality.

  • Unifying all actions under a single collection hub instead of separate rent/loan/utility pages, which currently fragment the experience.

6. User Journey / Onboarding

Concern: No walkthrough or tooltips.

Response:
We do have a demo icon (right side, mid-screen) that opens a recorded step-by-step walkthrough. However, it’s not prominent enough. We’ll make it more visible and context-aware, so new users can easily find guidance for the module they’re engaging with.

7. Purpose Communication

Concern: Value proposition is vague.

Response:
Valid point — we’ve been refining our narrative. While our GitBook covers the problems we’re solving and our target users. Additionally, we’ll post an updated project brief on the forum thread with specific problems and target segments for every community member to know.

8. Broken Social Links

Concern: X and Discord links are non-functional.

Response:
These will be fixed in the next push — they were missed in execution.

Summary: Suggestions Already in Progress

Your suggestions align closely with our roadmap:

  • Clearer value proposition: In progress.

  • UI simplification: In progress.

  • Direct faucet access: Immediate fix.

  • Social link fixes: Immediate fix.

  • Network benefit explanation: In progress.

  • Feature focus: While StreamNFT’s vision is to be a complete hub for NFT ownership (trading, renting, lending, claiming rewards, brand perks), we acknowledge that presenting all features at once can feel overwhelming. Our primary goal is to address the lack of utility that limits demand for these assets. By delivering this integrated experience, we aim to build user confidence and showcase the many ways they can maximize the value of their NFTs.

We appreciate your feedback, it’s helping us tighten the user journey, surface the essentials, and make the experience smoother. The majority of these changes will be live in the coming week, so testing should feel far more streamlined.
