Platforms Where You Can Find Your Users, or How to Attract Users to Your dApp

Launching a new crypto project is only half the battle. The real challenge lies in how to attract users to your crypto project, build trust, and create a loyal community that will help your idea grow. Without active participants and testers, even the most innovative dApp risks going unnoticed.

In this post, I’d like to raise the topic of user acquisition in crypto projects and highlight platforms that can help you with this. I won’t overload you with long explanations - here’s a clear list of platforms you can use today.

Platforms to Find Testers and Build Community

If you want to find early adopters and testers for your dApp, here are some Web3 task platforms that I’ve personally used and recommend:

  • Galxe – One of the biggest platforms for community quests and on-chain campaigns.

  • Zealy – Task-based platform with gamified community growth.

  • TaskOn – Helps projects create interactive missions and track completions.

  • Guild.xyz – Automates community access and rewards based on wallet activity.

  • QuestN – Fast-growing platform for quest campaigns in DeFi, NFT, and GameFi.

  • Intract – Focused on Web3 learning and task-based onboarding of users.

These platforms are powerful tools for crypto project user acquisition. By designing meaningful quests, you not only attract new users but also engage them in testing your dApp’s functionality.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: What about you?
Have you used any of these platforms, or do you know new ones where projects can find potential testers? Share your experience in the comments, and I’ll update the list with more useful resources for the Web3 community.

These are good tools but I personally find most of them “old” and boring. Campaigns on them attracted many people but all of them were airdrop hunters with no value for projects outside the campaign. And they are better when you already have a community which is going to support you. (My personal opinion)

Why nobody mentions and uses Koris, with some minor adjustments - en excellent tool to promote content about new projects and attract testers. Plus it is native for Metis, which means all transactions stay on Metis.

Great list, thanks! @Vladimir :raising_hands: I’ve shared these platforms for a vote with the Metis Turkey group and am sharing an engaging visual below. For now, Galxe stands out as the most popular platform. :rocket:

Awesome! Thx @han . Lemme know maybe your community will text about some modern platforms. I also do agree with @irinaina about your “old” points, but you know, old doesn’t mean bad or not good. They are doing their business and help projects grow, and they are popular in our circles.

Good list, Vladimir. From experience, the real key isn’t just plugging into these platforms but designing quests that actually feel meaningful. Too many projects throw shallow “follow + retweet” tasks and call it growth, but those don’t convert into real testers or loyal users.

One thing I’d add is: combine these platforms with strong storytelling. People stay when they believe in the vision, not just for short-term rewards. We’ve seen communities form around projects that shipped early, engaged directly, and kept feedback loops tight.

Nice :ok_hand: I believe projects will set awesome campaigns on some of the platforms, and will benefit from this. I see some of them already successfully implementing it. I also have not said that something is bad or good. I only shared my opinion from my personal experience. And I feel that platforms like Zealy are “done” and overloaded with bots and fake accounts which will not bring long term value to the project even if will help to reach required metrics. Can’t say much about QuestN and TaskOn, I didn’t use them. At least all of them well established platforms and will not scam their partners.

With all said, your strongest power is your community - support your supporters. Nothing works better for marketing than your believers spreading word about you and your products because they really enjoy using it.

Wishing everyone all the best in achieving their goals and completing milestones.

Very interesting list, well done Vlad.

The best results come when these quest platforms are paired with authentic community engagement, so testers stick around as believers, not just bounty hunters.

Looks like Twitter giveaways still more effective and cheaper way to get attention.

I doubt you get real, loyal users out of quests on these quest platforms.

I also explained here that these platform will bring you short-term interactions for limited period of time and maybe better to invest your marketing budget into a better channel like advocates and KOls.
