🚨 New Feature: Spam Detection Now Active!

To help keep our forum high-quality, relevant, and safe, we’ve just enabled automated spam detection powered by AI.

This means:

:white_check_mark: Low-effort or off-topic replies like “good job” or “Metis to the moon” may be flagged for review
:white_check_mark: Obvious spam, scams, or self-promotion will be auto-hidden
:white_check_mark: You’ll start to see cleaner, more meaningful discussions across all threads

We’re doing this to ensure that:

  • Every post adds value to the conversation
  • Scammers and bots are filtered out before they cause harm
  • You can focus on genuine, constructive community dialogue

We’ll keep tuning the system to avoid false positives — if your post is flagged by mistake, don’t worry! A moderator will review it quickly.

This is just one of the steps we’re taking to improve your experience here. Thanks for helping us make this a better, safer space for everyone!

This is a good and necessary solution! I’m just afraid that false positives will occur initially.

This is a step in the right direction to keep scammers and bots out.. I appreciate how AI is not just being used for building here, but it is also protecting the space.. A cleaner forum means more space for real builders and meaningful conversations. Props to the team!

This is a good news :+1:

Why not launch a spam campaign for those who create posts? Lots of posts like: “Metis to the moon,” “Good luck, guys,” “Let’s be friends,” and so on.

Especially if you write in Turkish, it’s enough just to say hello and your post is ready…

Right now it is multi-stage process. You can flag any post but it is ultimately Metis Moderators Team who will make a final decision. So, noo reason to be afraid

@Martin Please flag posts which you believe are not valuable/off-topic and our team will handle it.

@Duda We are working on educating our communities to provide meaningful contribution. You are welcome to utilize translation feature on posts in different languages (“…” → :globe_with_meridians: ) and flag them.
