Love this framing - decentralization isn’t just a tech choice, it’s a design philosophy for more accountable, community-led systems.
Curious: In your view, what’s the most underrated way decentralization empowers AI development specifically?
I think we’re at an Inflection Point, AI is accelerating faster than regulation can catch up.
Web3 is maturing just in time to offer an alternative to centralized AI monopolies.
Yes, absolutely agree we’re at a pivotal juncture. The breakneck speed of AI advancement is creating a significant regulatory gap, raising crucial questions about ethics, control, and societal impact.
Very nice interview! It’s cool to see Natalia out there, also mentioning fundamental aspects of blockchain as trust, and discussing how Metis has been building from the start with Andromeda and now with Hyperion to speed things up. Of course the issues of transaction speed, and how Hyperion creates a great ecosystem for AI.
Also, a very good point on how tech advancements with AI don’t just “negatively” cause some jobs to disappear, as many think, but actually create new opportunities and jobs/industries that don’t exist today. Well said Natalia, and definetely LazAI will create a great alternative as mentioned here to centralized AI monopolies.
I am glad that you like it ![]()
