Hey @ashqking Are the NFTs minted via AIArtify stored fully on-chain, or is the metadata off-chain?

Hey! Great question!
AIArtify uses a hybrid approach for maximum reliability:
Fully On-Chain Storage:
- NFT contract and ownership records
- Complete metadata JSON (including all AI reasoning, prompts, and LazAI data)
- Stored as base64-encoded data URIs directly in the smart contract
Off-Chain for Images:
- Artwork images are hosted on ImgBB for performance and cost efficiency
- The image URLs are referenced in the on-chain metadata
Why This Approach:
- Permanent Metadata: All AI reasoning, LazAI consensus data, and prompts are permanently stored on Hyperion blockchain
- Cost Effective: Storing large images directly on-chain would be prohibitively expensive
- Performance: Fast loading while maintaining provenance integrity
- Backup Strategy: We also store full metadata locally as a fallback
What’s On-Chain:
- Original & refined prompts
- Alith’s AI reasoning
- LazAI consensus scores & reasoning
- Quality metrics
- All NFT attributes and traits
So while the images are hosted off-chain for practical reasons, all the critical metadata and AI provenance data is fully on-chain and permanent!
