Introduce Yourself!

Welcome to the Operators Guild!

I’d love to get to know everyone here, please share a little bit about yourselves!

Here are some questions for inspiration, with my own answers so you can get to know me a bit:

  1. Why do you want to join the Operators Guild? (Tell us about your interest in operations and what you hope to gain or contribute.)

Every day I learn something new from other operators in various networks, about how to get more done with less. AI is proving to be a crucial new vector, completely rewriting the rules on how to be effective as an individual and as a team.

  1. Do you have any experience or skills related to operations? (This could include project management, logistics, systems building, governance, or coordination. It’s fine if you’re just starting out!)

I have >2 decades of experience building and leading effective, aligned teams, across various industries, everywhere from pre-seed startups to teams of hundreds of people. I’ve been General Manager, VP Ops, and Executive Coach and Advisor to many rapidly scaling teams.

  1. Are there specific challenges you’re working on, or areas you’d like to explore with the group?

In particular, I’m curious about how AI can practically change how teams are built, and how small teams can achieve large volumes of work, that previously required rapid team expansion and cost a lot of money!

I joined to contribute maybe more precisely like marketing, I have a telegram group community that has quite a lot of followers.

Welcome @afixyz !

The @Operators_Guild is a great place to discuss the practical aspects of operating and maintaining your telegram group community, many of which are probably pretty similar conceptually to this forum (powered by discourse) or even discord.

Here you can post “operator” type questions, and get answers and suggestions from other experienced operators. As others post questions, you can also share what you’ve learned along the way.
