Measures how well the project leverages and enhances the Hyperion platform

    • Proper utilization of Hyperion’s AI co-agent (where applicable)
    • Integration with Hyperion’s real-time capabilities
  • Ecosystem Value (10 points)
    • Contribution to the broader Hyperion ecosystem

2. Technical Innovation & Implementation (20 points)

Evaluates the technical depth, originality, and quality of the solution

Judging Process

Evaluation Phases

  4. Final Scoring: Weighted scoring based on track and bonus criteria

Scoring Guidelines

  • Excellent (90-100%): Exceptional quality, highly innovative, market-ready
  • Good (70-89%): Strong implementation with minor areas for improvement
  • Satisfactory (50-69%): Functional project meeting basic requirements
  • Needs Improvement (30-49%): Working concept with significant gaps
  • Incomplete (0-29%): Non-functional or severely limited implementation

Judge Panel Composition

  • Technical experts familiar with blockchain and AI technologies
  • Hyperion ecosystem representatives
  • Industry professionals with relevant domain expertise

Additional Considerations

Tie-Breaking Criteria

  1. Community impact and potential adoption
  2. Technical innovation relative to team size
  3. Quality of open-source contribution
  4. Alignment with Hyperion’s long-term vision

Disqualification Criteria

  • Plagiarism or use of existing projects without proper attribution
  • Non-functional submissions or failure to demonstrate core features
  • Projects started before the official hackathon period
    • If you are building on top of projects that had existed before the hackathon, only new functionality will be evaluated for the HyperHack

Feedback and Recognition

All participants will receive detailed feedback on their submissions, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. Special recognition categories may include:

  • Most Innovative Use of AI
  • Community Choice Award
  • Best Newcomer Project

I have a question about the hackaton, can anyone answer me here?
I read through the stages and I noticed a lot of submissions already, I want to know when the Hackathon ends.
And what’s the criteria for awarding the Special recognition categories selection?
Is that up to the communities or the judges too?

When does the Hackathon end?

Final submissions are on August 7th - but we ask that projects submit a live link on July 15 during the build and battle test phase.

We are still discussing if these special recognition categories will be transitioned into community votes. We will provide an update for this.
