GuessBuddy — The AI-Powered Guessing Party for Metis

GuessBuddy — The AI-Powered Guessing Party for Metis

Problem Statement

Today, many game platforms are isolated, inactive, or require heavy investment from players just to enjoy a game with friends or a community.
This leaves people looking for casual, rewarding, and socially connected games — especially in Web3 — where they can compete in a fun way and win rewards.
We want to enable a game platform where players can connect, compete, and celebrate together — all powered by Metis and a strong community network.

Solution Overview

GuessBuddy is an AI-powered game platform designed for social, real-time competition with rewarding incentives for players and contributors.
Using Metis’ high-throughput network and low latency, GuessBuddy lets:

:white_check_mark: Players compete in real time by guessing answers or solving clues presented by an AI game master.
:white_check_mark: The first person to guess correctly wins the pool of entry fees or rewards — adding an element of skill and chance.
:white_check_mark: The platform includes network effects, rewarding users for inviting friends and growing the community (each new player brings additional incentives).
:white_check_mark: All payments and rewards are made through smart contracts on Metis, ensuring fairness, transparency, and high-speed settlements.

Project Description

GuessBuddy comprises:

:white_check_mark: AI-Powered Quiz Master: An algorithm or large language model generates games, clues, or questions in real time.
:white_check_mark: Real-Time Gaming Experience: Players submit their answers through the platform’s UI or Telegram bot — adding a convenient way to join games directly from their phone.
:white_check_mark: Automated Winner Distribution: The first correct answer is recognized by the game’s smart contract and rewarded from the pool of entry payments.
:white_check_mark: Referral & Network Incentives: Players can earn additional rewards by referring friends to the platform, growing the community and adding depth to the games.
:white_check_mark: Scalable Operations: Metis’ high-throughput guarantees low latency, making the game fast, fair, and enjoyable — even under heavy load.

Community Engagement Features

  • Activity-Based Rewards: Players earn points for participating, guessing answers, or referring friends.
  • Referral Bonuses: Players get additional rewards when their friends join and start playing.
  • Voting or Governance: The community can vote to add new games, change payout structures, or sponsor special tournaments.

Hello @pavanxs
How does GuessBuddy use AI and Metis to create a fast, fair, and socially rewarding gaming experience?

Hello @pavanxs , How are you?

Are there plans to allow different types of games besides trivia/guessing, like image-based games, logic puzzles, or team competitions?

Will the voting/governance layer be token-based, or will participation (like playing games or referrals) also count toward voting power?
