Excited About Hyperion? Let’s Talk About What’s Next 🚀

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say how exciting it’s been to explore everything happening around the Hyperion testnet. Between the modular stack, native AI experiments, and all the governance talk, it really feels like Metis is doing something different — not just another Layer 2, but something more aligned with the future of decentralized infrastructure.

What I’m personally curious about is what kinds of real-world dApps people are thinking of building here. With AI tools baked in and modular rollups becoming more accessible, I think we’ll start seeing use cases that weren’t really possible (or practical) on other chains.

A few questions I’ve been thinking about:

  • What would a DAO look like if it actually used AI to moderate or make decisions?
  • How could developers use Metis to build smarter public goods systems or data-sharing platforms?
  • Can we design governance that adapts over time — based on actual community behavior?

Would love to hear what ideas others have, even if they’re wild or experimental. Let’s use this time during testnet to explore not just what we can build on Metis, but what we should.

Looking forward to chatting more and seeing what everyone’s working on!

Best Regards — [zuzuzu]

What’s one unexpected challenge you think we’ll face building AI-powered governance on Metis?

Thanks for asking, and yeah its a great question. Personally, I would say community trust and the tech itself. Firstly, lets not talking about AI-powered governance on Metis, but we have to build community trust with some education material about how AI could give a better solution rather than traditional DeFi. Secondly, there is main challenge on how to build the techlonogy powered by AI that is implemented on Metis Governance. And i think by building this forum, Metis are already taking the first step to build the trust and also giving the community chance to spread the news about AI, make everyone aware and learn.

Great points! Building trust through education is definitely crucial. What do you think is the best way to engage the community in learning about AI-powered governance?

like i said, its already implemented here.. by building this forum, let say its the very first step that metis took to engage the community to learn about AI-powered governance..
