Ideally we would like to work with other Web3 DNS systems to find a way for a universally interoperable domain resolver, thereby providing maximum utility back to the entire web3 ecosystem. Until then our focus is on building our utility for our users.

Aside from the inherent network benefits brought about by a DID system there will be a revenue share portion back to the metis domain name holders as a cashback function, so the early you get in the more rewards domain name holders will receive.

An important question. In two ways we will focus on this, at a protocol level and at a community level.
- Protocol level will see incentive structures built into the design, where domain name holders benefit from cashback by holding domains.
- Ongoing community campaigns will help engage future users of the domains to become current .metis domain name users.
We have a suite of products in the pipeline for domain name holders to take advantage of.
Think of it like GoDaddy for Web3.
Essentially like what ENS does with ethereum where Machine readable a identifiers are mapped to the domain name, in this case the metis wallet addresses will be abstracted away on an metis dApps that are integrated with the DNS service. Email, IPFS website hosting, Send/receive functionality with wallets, direct messaging will also be implemented to streamline the Metis ecosystem.
