Great question! The Star team is working on developing a Metamask social messaging SNAP.

Essentially your unique domain name works as a DID (Decentralised ID) similar to a social handle in Web2, enabling you to send messages, directly from your wallet to a blockchain address with a similar user experience to existing Web2 messaging apps.

Adding to this we are looking to integrate Star Name Service into the Metamask wallet directly for domain name resolution.

Layer Zero fits into this equation by allowing seamless interoperability into 30 networks.

No other domain name services in Web3 have these loyalty features, so the value accrual for domain holders will be greater than any other Web3 domain name service.

Thanks for your question, given the incredible amount of chains 250+ (Blockscout) integrations with all chains will most likely be done by continuing to be trailblazers in the Name Service space. Setting ourselves up the defacto solution that networks choose instinctively, given the utility will continue to be superior to other Web3 DNS solutions.
