Without unified tooling for usage metering and micropayment collection, many default to centralized or clunky solutions, undermining decentralization and interoperability in AI ecosystems.
Solution Overview
TokenLab is a modular monetization and discovery protocol built for Hyperion’s AI-native future. It enables any AI model, MCP server, or API to be wrapped in a smart contract-driven endpoint that enforces on-chain payments per request. With seamless integration into Alith — Hyperion’s native AI co-agent — both users and agents can discover and pay for services using natural language, turning TokenLab into a programmable economic layer for decentralized AI.
Project Description
TokenLab is the on-chain monetization protocol for decentralized AI infrastructure on Hyperion. At its core, it allows developers to register service endpoints (e.g., APIs, AI models, or inference engines) and define pricing models. TokenLab issues a monetized proxy URL that verifies payment using Hyperion smart contracts before forwarding any request — ensuring instant, transparent revenue per use.
