I like the idea of low gas fees since it resonates with Metis.

This is a great proposal and commendable effort by Solidly. Solidly’s groundbreaking in-house merkle processor has effectively put an end to the longstanding issue of “JIT liquidity” plaguing CLAMM Dexes like Uniswap V3. Kudos to the team for addressing this challenge with such a forward-thinking approach!

Swapping and providing liquidity on Solidly is deterministically lower, as a matter of fact it’s the word’s cheapest CLAMM DEX. Savings are 12-42% lower (depends on a lot of factors), for liquidity provision it’s up to 60% cheaper.
I created a Metis/WETH pool on mainnet and compared it to Uniswap, same exact fee tier, same swap size, same gwei.
Let the numbers speak (20c swap from Metis to WETH):
Uniswap: $5.13
Solidly: $2.98
In this example you can see Solidly is 42% cheaper / Uniswap is 72% more expensive.

The Solidly V3 AMM has JIT Protection and IL Reduction, which makes it unique. These help liquidity providers and indirectly traders too.
Our foundation builds on the very well trusted and audited Uniswap V3 codebase, we forked it, improved it and had it audited 3 times so far, next week the 4th audit by one of the most OG companies in the space will start (Cyfrin Audits, CEO & Founder is Patrick Collins)
We will keep building and innovating as we always do! Connecting and partnering with other protocols who share the same vision is also crucial.
Regarding BD and onboarding other protocols to Metis, it is in the development stage and confidential, but I can say that we already talked to several large protocols and asked them to come to Metis with us or provide their infrastructure on it.
One of the biggest areas of improvements is to simplify everything and make it as intuitive as possible for the user, concretely this means improving UI/UX. For newcomers some of our concepts might be quite advanced. This also includes educational content and raising awareness.
Automated Liquidity Manager, it’s a protocol that builds vaults/contracts that automatically rebalance user’s LP position when they get out of range.
